This is a very similar book to 'The Stripbuilt Sea kayak" but more recent. The author Ted Moores is a very respected builder of canoes and kayaks, in fact some of his work is displayed in museums in the United States. In this book he takes the reader through every step involved in creating a beautiful strip planked sea kayak. There are plans for three kayaks, a fourteen, a sixteen and a seventeen footer. The instructions and quality of illustrations are so good in this book it is hard to imagine how you could go wrong. There are also several very informative chapters on sea kayak design features.
