Glow-worms
Winter is always the best time for a glow-worms trip! The trip is across Lake Karapiro to a stream that leads up a beautiful fern laden gorge. We gather up in the pool above and float down quietly in the darkness to experience the thousands of glow-worms. It's a magical trip if you've never done it before, and well worth a repeat if you have.
