Taupo - Short Boat White Water Development Camp

Off the back of our very successful White water development camps, we have decided to run regular short Boat only (I.E. river runners, playboats and creek boats) NZKI 1 Star White Water Development Camps open to any Yakity Yak Member who wishes to give it a go.  Clients have the option to be assessed on their NZKI 1 Star White Water exam if they are ready. Cost will be $350 for the weekend and will include assessments, certification and a BBQ on Saturday night. We will spend the both days on the Mohaka or Tongariro depending on weather. If we run the Mohaka we intend to camp at the Glennfalls Reserve on the Mohaka (or you can return to Taupo, optional) We will cover river reading, kayak skills,rescues, safety, group management, weather, technique and shuttles (can be very involved.)

Space is limited to 12 kayakers max. First come first served.
