BOP Yakity Yak Club

Hello and Welcome to the Yakity Yak Kayak Club Bay of Plenty!

There are so many great places to paddle around the Bay of Plenty, and the best way to do it is with the Yakity Yak Sea Kayak Club. Being part of the Yakity Yak Sea Kayak Club is loads of fun. We plan trips suitable from beginners to experienced paddlers. Every weekend there is a trip planned in our area or sometimes we venture a little further afield for weekend's away.

Once a month we meet at the Canoe and Kayak BOP shop. It's a great chance for everyone to catch up on where we've been paddling, what happened on the trip and pass on any new information for future trips. We also plan the coming month's trips. Anyone can suggest destinations for paddles, so we never run out of something new and exciting to do. See below for photo's from recent club trips.

All of our club members complete our weekend Sea Kayak Skills Course, so it doesn't matter if you have never paddled before, you will soon be an expert.
