International Kayak Week - the rest of that week
Are you a kayaker wanting to learn more or hear how others do it (sitting down / rolled-over or whatever!)? Want to meet other kayakers from around New Zealand and around the world? Come along to Coastbusters.
What is Coastbusters about?
- It’s a symposium run over a weekend by kayakers for kayakers.
- Non-profit,
- The goal is:
- For kayakers to have fun
- Learning and improving your skills
- Stretching your horizons and your comfort levels
What does your $140 Coastbusters registration fee get you?
- Food wise:
- Saturday: lunch, dinner & nibbles at the tea breaks
- Sunday: BBQ lunch
- Friday Evening: Icebreaker to meet your pod and a speaker session
- Saturday: A choice of 4 parallel sessions of workshops, talks, discussions, slides, speakers
- Sunday: Sessions on the water, in pods of 8 people of mixed abilities
- The opportunity to meet paddlers from all around the world with ideas and skills to challenge and excite you.
