St Heliers to Motuihe
Meet at St Heliers beach (Cliff Rd) 0900 for 0930 departure.
Paddle past south end of Browns Island to Motuihe, stopping at the eastern beach for lunch. Return via north points of Motuihe and Browns.
Return approx 1500

Weather parameters - Winds up to 15 knots suitable. If above 15 knots we can shorten trip to Browns Island or Eastern Beaches.
Facilities - Good parking and toilets near St Heliers beach.  Toilet block at Motuihe.
Take the usual kayak safety equipment, including flags.
Additional hazards - we will be crossing open water and ferry channels - everyone needs to ensure that they are highly visible and keep a good lookout.

Suitable for intermediate paddlers.  Distance is approx 23km.
