Whether you want to celebrate a friends birthday or any other special occasion, or perhaps reward your team at work then our range of customised kayaking tours and courses will give you something to be excited about. Get out on the water an explore some amazing places you just won't see from the land with your friends or colleagues to share it with you.

Canoe & Kayak has been introducing people to kayaking since 1994. We have a strong desire to see as many people as possible enjoying the activity and have found that through group kayaking activities people achieve more than they anticipated and develop a real sense of commraderie with strengthened friendships, communication and a shared excitement in the experience.

The Bay of Plenty offer some of the best kayaking around for all ages and abilities. We can offer a range of tours to suit your group:

*Lake McLaren Tour
*Round the Mount Tour
*Kayak Fishing Experiences (from November onwards)
Some tours can be mixed and matched to suit your requirments and desires.
We also offer customised tours to more exclusive places in the Bay that are tailored specifically to your group, including trips to the stunning lakes in Rotorua.
Photos are FREE - we will take as many photos as possible during the trip and we will email you after the tour to view and download them from our facebook page.

We also offer a range of kayaking courses designed to develop your confidence and skills on the water including:
*Kayak Taster Sessions
*Sea Kayak Skills
*Moving/White water Skills
These courses are excellent for developing your confidence and skills on the water and are ultimately great fun too. Courses can be arranged to suit the age and ability of the group.

Fully guided by qualified kayak instructors.
Each tour varies in length and can be customised to suit your group and ability.
Tour can be customised for all ages and abilities (each child must be accompanied by an adult).
No experience is necessary but a level of fitness is required.
Double sea kayaks, paddles, paddle jackets and personal flotation devices (pfd's) are provided.
It is recommended that you wear warm clothing and avoid cotton clothing.
Group tours are run on demand for minimum of 10+ people.
Tours can operate daily throughout the year in fair weather conditions.
Nov - March 7 days a week
April - Oct Mon - Sat. Closed Sundays
Please contact Canoe & Kayak BOP if you are in any doubt as to whether it will be running.
Bookings must be made at least 1 week in advance.

Cancellation Policy if you cancel:
3 days notice - full refund
48 hours notice partial refund
Less than 48 hours, no refund
After time of departure, no refund.

Cancellation Policy if we have to cancel:
It is our commitment to your safety, that we must consider the weather and related conditions before running this tour. Very infequently we must cancel a trip. In the event of cancellation we will transfer your booking to alternate day or supply a full refund. The decision to cancel a trip is made by Canoe and Kayak Bay of Plenty and cannot be made by the customer without application to our policy. If a tour is cancelled we will endevour to advise you immediately.
