We have a very active club with trips happening all the time. The trips suit all from casual day trips along the coast etc for a picnic to larger away trips with camping and exploration. We also do Tuesday evening trips over summer. Actually the list of activities could go on and on.
 
When you join the club the first year’s subscription includes our awesome kayak skills course. This gives you confidence on the water and it gives the trip leaders confidence that all club paddlers have a sound understanding of the sport and skills.
 
Once this course is completed you receive 12 month's membership to our Yakity Yak kayak club. As a clubbie you're entitled you to 50% discount on all hire boats and gear, 10% discount on purchases in store, a subscription to the New Zealand Kayak Magazine and a weekly newsletter keeping you up to date with what’s going on in the club – trips, courses etc. We also have a club once a month get together where we plan future trips etc.
