Manukau YY Club NightAnne Rimmer is going to be coming along to give a PowerPoint talk - "Treasure Islands: an update on the Hauraki Gulf". This event is funded by the Department of Conservation and Auckland Council as part of their Treasure Islands initiative to encourage us all to get on board with looking after the Hauraki Gulf - our unique national park of the sea.
There will be a number of goodies / door prizes courtesy of the Department of Conservation, Auckland Council, and three sponsors: Boating NZ, Trans Pacific Marine, and EAL. We'll have leaflets, posters, rat and mouse traps for everyone attending, and four generous door prizes from the sponsors.
Anne is a keen sailor and conservationist. Some of you may have heard her speak about Tiritiri Matangi in the past few years. Now she can offer a lively and fact-filled illustrated update on the Hauraki Gulf
