Canoe & Kayak has grown to be New Zealand's largest specialist kayaking company


Started in 1994 there are now eight specialist owner-operated Canoe & Kayak Specialist Centres  in Auckland, North Shore, Manukau, Taupo, Taranaki, Bay of Plenty, Waikato, and Wellington and have recently opened our first Canoe & Kayak Specialist Agency based in Christchurch.

All Canoe & Kayak staff are passionate about kayaking and are keen to see you enjoy kayaking as much as they do. Whether you're a beginner or advanced paddler they offer you expert advice to assist you with all your kayaking requirements. If you are looking for kayaks, canoes or accessories, kayak instruction and courses, kayaking tours, New Zealand Kayak Magazine, or the Yakity Yak Kayak Club, Canoe & Kayak has it all. Recreation, multisport, sea kayaking, white water, canoeing, kayak fishing, we have all your needs covered. We can also advise you on the transport of kayaks as we are also the Roof Rack Centre.
